Amy’s Villages provides supplies, education, yoga and dental hygiene for villages in developing nations.
We have a simple, but robust mission: to help people in need. We do that by focusing on community-based efforts including education, emotional and physical health through Yoga, and dental health . We want to make a difference.
If you have able hands, we want your help. Whether it's organizing packs of kids on a soccer field into a yoga class, mending a palm leaf roof, or collecting donations, offering your dental skills, or backpacking books into a village for a book party, we need you. And so do communities in need.
We're continually working hard to improve communities throughout developing nations. If you're interested to see what we've been doing recently (especially if you want to help), check out our project list.
Our Mission: To reach the unreachable
At Amy's Villages, our focus is creating smiles without borders, bridging basic needs and creating sustainable practices within the village. We work with those in need, those who are underprivileged, and those who are underserved, who have poor nutrition and poor dental health. Our focus lies on community efforts, including small-scale construction protects, oral hygiene education and dental services, education about sugar and nutrition, group Yoga and meditation classes. Additionally, we teach how to care for animals and pets, conservation and recycling practices, and teaching English, art and computer skills. We firmly believe that as we live under the same sun, under the same moon, that it is our duty to be kind and giving.
We are passionate about honoring all living things and giving them the same opportunities we were given in our own communities back home.
Poor people are the spiritual reserve of the world.
